I have an idea
by Crazyguy inhow about those of us that are still going to the district conventions this summer, take a permanent sharpie pen and go in to the bathroom into one of the stalls and write on the stall wall a quick one line message followed by jwfacts.com.
do this once a day in a different bathroom all three days, we may actually get to a few people..

There's a Hindu temple around here that I'd really like to visit. I hear the food there is amazing.
I'd never skip breafast for church Scully.
The senior minister at the church I visit most regularly is an atheist of Jewish background so her sermons tend to resonate with me. The junior minister is a younger gay man who's an ex-catholic theist, even so I can agree with and learn from most of his sermons. I kinda like some of the rituals, singing, lighting candles in memory of loved ones some Sundays. Other times I can't stand the rituals so I just pop in in time for the sermon. A friend who goes pretty much exclusively for the sermons and the coffee hour said that listening to the sermons were pretty much like auditing a philosophy lecture at the Ivy league school she went to.

Harlots Humiliate Jehovah Witness Preachers
by TJ Curioso inharlots humiliate jehovah witness preachersby: kola niyi-eke on may 24, 2013 - 5:41am.
in a reminiscent event, harlots operating at a popular ezenei-cable point inasaba delta state have humiliated four gospel jehovah witness preachers during their routine activity leaving two of them stripped naked while their bags containing awake and watchtowers were allegedly set ablaze.. it would be recalled that few years ago some christian convertors from a popular pentecostal church after they were allegedly hoodwinked into love making with the harlots, had their bibles set ablaze upon their refusal to pay for their love making.. eyewitness told leadership friday that the incident occurred last tuesday towards nightfall when the preachers upon courage approached residents of the brothel to be part of their gospel teachings (word of god).. as it were, the tradition of jehovah witness widely known for strict compliance against things of the world especially as they carry out their preaching of house to house in group of male and female.. but as unsuspecting regular visitors/preachers to various places, sources said they moved into the brothel was greeted in happiness by some of the sexworkers who immediately assembled themselves to hear the word of god.. while the preaching lasted, our informed sources said many of the sex workers were seen like passersby clad in skimpy dresses that merely cover their nudity leaving their colleagues who had assembled to hear the word of god with serious gossip.. but this fateful day it was not to be for the jehovah preachers who had gone to the brothel without the female among them and in their usual way introduced the topic in one of the awake and while the biblical discourse lasted, the preachers were said to have been greeted in rude shock when one of the sexworkers identified as chinasa raced out of her room in what could be best described as hot pant that merely covers her nudity and with big bottle of stout and cigarette to drag one of them for sex.. in what looks like a childs play, the preacher leadership friday reliably gathered, resisted the attempt on him but the hookers method gained prominence and was dragged into the room.. leadership friday checks revealed that the sex workers modus operandi is to woo unsuspecting men into having sex with them via their skimpy dresses; a situation they also display their pubic hair.. expectedly the preacher and the harlot were said to have been engaged in serious battle right inside the room when his colleagues made attempt to rescue him but the situation became conflagrated as the harlots were allegedly said to have teamed up and seized their bags containing watchtower and awake.. they were said to have descended on them in severe beating including calling them names and allegations that they made love to them and did not pay.. .

I remember now preaching once in a brothel. The conditions on the inside were really demoralizing. We made sure they did not have any customers before going in. A few of the women listened patiently, most just went on about getting ready for the days work. The elders made sure that a pair would visit at a time, one male one female. I remember being really nervous going in. But I sorta understood why the territory servant made sure that these women were not overlooked.
Around where I live and work I think we take sexual assault pretty seriously regardless of whether the victim is male or female. Just recently I had a male patient who, based on his injuries, appeared to be a victim of abuse so I took extra time to question him privately about safety concerns. He stuck with his story about repeated accidental self injury but at least I hope he knows now that if he was ever mistreated by someone else he has places and people to turn to for help that would treat him respectfully.

Yep! Love the architecture especially since so much newer buildings going up are so underwhelming.
Some churches draw more tourist than congregants.

Yes Cofty for me it is so habitual to wake up on a Sunday and gravitate to a house of worship. I've actually forced myself these last three weeks not to go just to make sure I'm not addicted. It's left me melancholy.
What do you think of atheism2.0?

I don't believe in any gods or supernatural beings either which makes it hard to connect with or be trusted by black people where I live. I'm uncomfortable when friends automatically assume I'm a god worshiper and sometimes feel like I have to correct them... never goes well. The complicating factor is, because of so many years of thrice weekly visits to the KH I can't get church attendance out of my system. And belief/non belief in god(s) comes up in my conversations way too frequently for the average person who generally believes that one doesn't discuss religion or politics in polite company. The truth is I want to hang out with people who dont go church at all and I aspire to be like them one day. But for now I love going to church on Sundays, thankfully I've found one that is very accepting of theists and non theists alike. The senior minister is an atheist of Jewish background who still observes the sabbath and the junior minister is a gay ex-catholic theist. The church is super liberal though so politically I don't really fit in.
Good luck with future exams! If you're in university still try connecting with people in the different clubs they have there.
